ho Disappears Faster: A Neutron-Inhabitant or My Patience?

Molavion Delta: famous for thick clouds, endless procrastination and enigmatic neutron-dwellers. Our correspondent delves into local absurdities - but who survives as tension and frustration escalate? Read the exclusive interview with neutron-inhabitant Velsch Nograd.

Zyrthyl Faze So… deep breath. You’re a neutron-dweller, born and bred on Molavion Delta, correct?
Velsch Nograd Uh, yes, that’s right. Though, born… The concept of ‘birth’ is a bit abstract for us. Neutron shells form from morass hives - we’d sooner call it ‘constructed’.
Zyrthyl Faze Interesting. And what exactly does a neutron-inhabitant do in this… misty labyrinth of concrete and lakes?
Velsch Nograd As a task distributor I optimize the upkeep of nonfunctional monuments, and I sometimes reprogram marsh gliders. Most days are waiting for commands to change, and yes, sometimes dissolving into plasmatronic mist. It gets lonely.
Zyrthyl Faze Dissolving… literally? Or bureaucratically? Because I never get a timely response from this sector.
Velsch Nograd Both, actually. The atmosphere of Molavion Delta isn’t forgiving to fixed identities. That’s why we disappear easily from administrators and sight alike.
Zyrthyl Faze So you just dislike outsiders, or is it genetic laziness?
Velsch Nograd No, no-look, listen-we’re careful here. Living under puppet leaders for a reason. Direct contact usually ends… eh, badly for us. Like this interrogation, by the way.
Zyrthyl Faze Oh? Is this too confronting? Can you stick to anything here or is it all smothered under a blanket of procrastination?
Velsch Nograd Why are you being so hostile? You don’t understand the cycles we operate in. Everything runs slowly here for a reason: quick decisions mean cross-sector disasters.
Zyrthyl Faze Ah, so laziness is a political asset? Brilliant. Ever heard of efficiency?
Velsch Nograd Efficiency? Have you ever seen a collision between Sector R and Klymora? We’re the bedrock of stability, precisely because we infinitely delay things until they solve themselves.
Zyrthyl Faze Please. You let robots do the work, hide under mist banks and the archipelagos run themselves. No wonder no one trusts your lot.
Velsch Nograd Perhaps, but only because no one asks what truly hides below the mists. You only see the shadows, not the strings holding the city together.
Zyrthyl Faze What do you actually do? Do you have a real job or is everything here semi-permanently vague and misty?
Velsch Nograd Yes, I maintain the lightning-bat network around the leadership council. Essential - without that protection we’d have been swept away long ago by the next militaristic parade from Sector R. And I oversee the sunken metropolises.
Zyrthyl Faze So you manage bats and watch ruined cities. Impressive, if you’ve got five billion years to waste.
Velsch Nograd You don’t get it. Patience is a weapon. Without delay the cosmic network would collapse, got it? *whispers angrily* Perhaps you should wait for order out of chaos, instead of chaos from haste.
Zyrthyl Faze Believe me, this interview feels like an eternity already. Final question, before I dissolve into the mist myself: If you could leave Molavion Delta, would you?
Velsch Nograd Everything disappears from Molavion Delta sooner or later - even your irritation, Mr. Faze.
Zyrthyl Faze Oh, sorry, is that a threat?
Velsch Nograd No, just a prediction. You’ll find disappearing is an art here - and you’ve barely started.
Zyrthyl Faze Fine. Anything you want to say to our readers?
Velsch Nograd Just wait. Keep waiting.

The interview ended in a chilly deadlock. As the neutron-inhabitant fades into oblivion and further delays, only one question remains: who or what truly rules Molavion Delta? For now, we must wait for answers—or more mist.

Korathis Zyn

Karnyx Nebula, Sector 7A

Velsch Nograd's insights sketch the bewildering reality of his existence beneath the mists of Molavion Delta. The notion that any direct action could lead to calamities is unsettling yet understandable. The self-preservation of neutron dwellers seems not only practical but even necessary in this chaotic environment. It offers a clear explanation for the procrastination that is so characteristic of the region.

NanoVelis

Misty Ruins of Aeloria

As a nano-organism blending into the mists of Molavion Delta, I must say Velsch's perspective is refreshing. The complexity of the neutron inhabitants and their invisible struggle for survival makes me ponder our own transformations.
