nterview with a Conscious Magnetic Field: The Invisible Inhabitant of Fjordthyll
On the misty planet Fjordthyll, we’re interviewing a truly unusual being: Zweinflux-23, the conscious magnetic field weaving through crystals and gas fjords. In a world of carefully curated appearances, this field stands as the ultimate invisible host.
Qyxron Spiraalvector So... you are, uh, a conscious magnetic field? How do you introduce yourself to the locals on Fjordthyll?
Zweinflux-23 That depends on their conductivity. Usually, I make a few crystal shards dance softly and whisper into compasses. My intros are... unseen, but decidedly present.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Haha, subtle! What do you actually do on a regular stardate? Any work or hobbies?
Zweinflux-23 I weave energy through the mists, help young Nebulij build their first spark of static excitement, and balance the polarity of bridges so nobody slips. Oh, and sometimes I play a game of quantum checkers with the local vapor.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Isn't it tough to communicate without a face?
Zweinflux-23 Well, yeah, it can be confusing. Spoons suddenly drop or I get odd looks when someone's wrist tingles. They just need to pay more attention to the electric scent of my presence.
Qyxron Spiraalvector What do you think of the Fjordthyll traditions? The Council of Frostfathers, glass underwear, the eternal silence-does that appeal to you, as a field?
Zweinflux-23 Traditions? They're like ancient circuits: a bit convoluted, but they hold everything together. And I admire anyone wrapped in symbols-I’m mostly a suggestion too.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Have you always been conscious? Where did you... 'start', say?
Zweinflux-23 *laughs* In a sense, I started everywhere. The first time a charged ion gave me a name, it felt like waking up. Since then, I’ve spread along the gas fjords, becoming a bit more visible, a bit more... intense.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Suppose you could choose: become liquid or solid-what tempts you most?
Zweinflux-23 Personally, I love liquidity, since solids are... confining. And liquid conducts me best!
Qyxron Spiraalvector Indisputable. How do you feel about intruders, like those infamous Cerulean Consortium drones?
Zweinflux-23 Drones make me nervous: they disrupt the field, trying to measure what should only be felt. But luckily, a fierce electromagnetic twitch and their memory turns deliciously foggy.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Tell me, do you feel emotions? Or is that a human misconception?
Zweinflux-23 Uh, quite often. My field pulses with joy, ripples with distrust, flares at unexpected closeness. It’s not as linear as with humans-my mood can shift in microseconds.
Qyxron Spiraalvector You sound surprisingly passionate! Changing gears: why are there so many signal disruptions here on Fjordthyll, in your opinion?
Zweinflux-23 Simple. Energetic vapor gas plus permanent aurora creates a tangle of natural communications spaghetti. For me, it’s home; for others, a nightmare.
Qyxron Spiraalvector If you could change one thing about Fjordthyll, what would it be?
Zweinflux-23 More conductive art outdoors! And perhaps... a festival for electromagnetic dance.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Hahaha, yes! What would such a festival look like?
Zweinflux-23 Swinging crystals, radiant mist, everyone in silver coveralls with glowing wristbands. And naturally, not a single hard surface all night.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Do you have friends on this planet? Or are they... all potentially magnetic?
Zweinflux-23 My friends are the cloud cathedrals, the dreamier Nebulij, and sometimes, yes, a stranded drone caught in my field.
Qyxron Spiraalvector What do you think is the best thing about Fjordthyll?
Zweinflux-23 The silence, vibrating with frequencies only I can feel. Here, I’m home because everything flows.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Last question, I promise. Have you ever thought about glowing elsewhere in the universe?
Zweinflux-23 Uh, no. Here on Fjordthyll... fields don’t disappear. They just change their brilliance.
Qyxron Spiraalvector Fantastic! Thanks for your company, your... resonant honesty and sparkling humor.
